Information for Exhibitor & Sponsor

The Pierce County Health Careers Council is hosting up to 900 students from all areas of Pierce County at the 4th Annual Pierce County Health Career Day.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Following 2007’s event, we received feedback that the $15 student fee presented a financial hardship for some and prevented them from attending the event. In order to allow all students to benefit from this opportunity and to reach a broader, more diverse range of students, Health Career Day is offered with no fee for students.

We have Sponsorship opportunities available. Each level provides your company with recognition exposure in publications, on web sites, and in the exhibit hall on the day of the event. This event impacts students, teachers, legislators, and our community. With your help and sponsorship, the Health Career Day will continue exposing students to the diverse array of healthcare career opportunities.

Event Check-In

Advance registration is required. Health Career Day is held at the University of Puget Sound. The Exhibit Hall will be open from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Exhibitors can arrive as early as 7:30 to begin setting up. The Exhibit Hall is located in the Wheelock Student Center, building number 23 on map below.

Directions

The University of Puget Sound is located at 1500 North Warner in Tacoma, Washington, approximately 30 miles south of Seattle and 15 miles north of Olympia.

To the UPS Campus

From I-5, take exit 133, Interstate 705 north, City Center exit. Exit at Schuster Parkway. Continue for approximately one mile, and stay to the left. Exit to the left (Schuster Parkway), and follow Schuster along the water. Stay to the right and proceed approximately 1.5 miles. Exit right onto North 30th. Continue through the traffic signal in Old Town and up the hill.

To Wheelock Student Center

From 30th Ave, turn left at North Alder. Continue approximately one mile. The campus will be on your right. Parking is available by turning right into lots located at 14th Street or 13th Street.

Parking

Parking is free. You do not need a parking pass. You may park in any unreserved space around the building.

Lunch/Refreshments

A networking lounge will be open to all sponsors, exhibitors, workshop presenters and high school teachers. The lounge is stocked with light refreshments throughout the day. In addition, UPS cafeteria serves a variety of foods and is located off the Exhibit Hall.
